OUR MANIFEST
The city is a living
design story.
Design shapes how we move, meet, remember and belong. DHF begins with Krakow and the belief that understanding a place can make our experience of it richer.

A façade, a chair, a sign or a handmade object carries choices about people, materials and ways of living. We begin with those details and follow the questions they raise.
We explore what places and objects meant, how their roles have changed and what they might offer today. Reading the city is a conversation between memory, observation and possibility.
LOOK CLOSELY
A detail can change the whole picture.
Look beyond familiar views. A building, a sign or an everyday object can reveal how the city was imagined and lived in.

KRAKOW · DESIGN & PLACE
Read the city
Start with a story and follow the details.
Heritage continues through use.
Design history connects ideas with the circumstances that shaped them. We aim to distinguish documented facts from interpretation and credit the sources behind each story.
A story is also an invitation to explore. Read, question and notice what surrounds you. AI tools can help develop a route, but practical details and generated suggestions need checking.
